Upgraded Childhood of the Day: San Francisco held its 11th annual Bring Your Own Big Wheel derby yesterday, drawing over 2,000 Big Wheel enthusiasts to Potrero Hill, where they were asked to sign a liability waiver before flinging themselves down one of San Francisco’s steepest streets.
“It’s scary at first, but it’s not that hard,” participant Meredyth Masterson said. “You’re in motion and you can’t stop. You can only go forward. It’s freedom.”

Tracing shadows with paint. I need to work on my speed & not worry about people walking by me. No one even noticed what I was doing. With proper planning I could have covered the entire shadow in less than 20 minutes. Some people noticed what I was doing and didn’t mind. Maybe some people have some art sense around here.
